CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS -

July 15th - Update on future lane closures and the completion schedule for the current C-470 surface treatment improvement project.

The current C-470 project is scheduled to be completed on August 3rd - pending no adverse weather delays on the key days of operations (over the weekends when the major work is being done).  CDOT anticipates three more weekend lane closures will be required.

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and its contractor, Castle Rock Construction Co.,are completing the multi-modal concrete rehabilitation project on a nine-mile stretch of C-470 between I-25 and Santa Fe Drive and along a 26-mile stretch of the C-470 bike trail between I-70 and I-25.  The project will not only improve the riding surface of C-470 and the bike trail, but will extend the life of the pavement.
