Douglas County Housing Partnership Foreclosure Mediation Program to Expand »
Through a $75,000 grant from NeighborWorks and administered by the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority, the Douglas County Housing Partnership, will now have the resources to provide foreclosure counseling services to an additional 225 residential mortgage holders who are in various stages of foreclosure.
Economic Gardening »
An Economic Gardening strategy focuses on growing the local economy by helping local entrepreneurs succeed. Economic Gardening services are most effective for businesses that have been established for one to two years or more. Economic gardening is a complimentary strategy to the traditional business recruitment or “economic hunting” strategy.
Initially, Douglas County’s Economic Gardening program will be a pilot program exclusively with the Chamber of Commerce of Highlands Ranch, with the potential to extend to other communities within Douglas County in the future.
